Melanotan 2 is a synthetic analogue of the peptide hormone alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). Melanotan 2 (MT-II) is a synthetic analog of the endogenous peptide alpha-melanocyte–stimulating hormone (α-MSH).
